On this Canada Day I will divulge that I recently found out that I can claim Canadian citizenship by descent (my grandpa was born there). If all the paperwork I sent to the Canadian government is in order, I should hopefully receive a certificate and then I will have dual citizenship. Wild, eh? 🇨🇦

I'm conflicted about this tale of cosmic horror. On one hand, it's funny and entertaining. On the other hand, some deeply cruel and fucked up stuff happens in it. It's kind of hard to reconcile that dissonance. #JustRead

#JustWatched True Grit (2010). Not my favorite of the Coens', but they made a high quality Grandpa movie, with their distinctive stylized dialogue and usual busload of great character actors.
