Anytime I can think of where I agreed to do something after someone said "it's good to get outside your comfort zone", I've regretted it. It's taken me 44 years, but I realize I'm perfectly happy in my comfort zone.

I went through a nearly year long funk where I wasn't motivated to make any music. At some point In the past month or so, it's like a switch got it and the motivation came roaring back.

Question: Does anyone actually use loops? I see these sample packs with loops and I think to myself "why would I want to use someone else's loop in my work?" Sure, I like nice drum one-shots and the occasional sample, but loops? No.
