It may be from doing this show, but I’ve gotten so anti-remake in the last few years. I’m all for things like enhanced ports, and I can appreciate some remakes for providing a new take on old experiences, but I hate the idea that we need to sand off every quirk of any old game.

When people say they want an Ocarina of Time remake, I just don't understand what they want -- beyond a rerelease of OoT3D. @sunlitleaves.bsky.social and I are thinking they might mean this: "We want Breath of the Wild, but less of it. And call it Ocarina of Time, because we want to be 8 again."
