#Smutcember 18 I focus heavily not just on physical touch, but also interoception (what the body feels internally). How breath changes, how tension builds with ache and anticipation. Sound is the runner-up, especially noises that give away pleasure or emotions before words can.

#Smutcember 17 I’d say generally speaking my characters tend to feel more attached to each other after sex, but there are characters that can feel more conflicted. That’s especially true for Sebastian with Elias given their dynamic and the loss Sebastian is still struggling with.

There are times of mourning involved in this whole healing process. You wonder about who you would have been, and the life you would have gotten to have if everything you went through never happened, because there are pieces of yourself you’ll never get back. Today has been hard.

#Smutcember 13 This one is very drafty and from a future book in my series. There’s a certain kind of magic link between omegas and alphas for wolf famirian packs that makes the alpha stronger but Ettore puts that in jeopardy if he forms a romantic attachment.

#Smutcember 12 So far I only have one established relationship in a WIP while all the others are new, so I guess new relationship. I guess the appeal is the fact it’s new so the characters learn each other.

#Smutcember 11 Enemies to lovers. Stoic/serious character x hyper/humorous character. Forbidden relationship/love. A dynamic where two people survive the same or similar trauma, and end up understanding each other in a way no one else could.

#Smutcember 10 It depends on who I’m sharing it with. If it’s just friends, then no, but if it’s fully published I’ll have moments when I’ll literally want to hide, cause I’ll remember at random times people are reading the spice I wrote. I think I’m slowly going from mortified to amused though.

Yeah, I write for myself. But I also write because I want to hopefully one day give someone the same feeling I have when reading Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire, Berserk, One Piece. Things that give me life. Even just giving a fraction of that feeling to someone else would be worth it.

Had to get some extra use out of their Halloween costumes.

It is very funny to watch the first Wicked movie with some very heterosexual people and realize that they see ZERO queerness. And by funny I mean sad.
