Just so I’ve been 100% clear on this recently, and not just through reposting people saying things better than I think I’d be able to: the attack on trans rights—especially on trans healthcare—is hate. It’s not science. It’s not "protecting" kids. It’s 100% fucking hate, and it’s wrong.

Publishers have always been risk-averse, and this has gotten incrementally worse, but the last 5 years have accelerated it drastically. We see this with streamers, as well. Everything now *needs* to be a breakout/blockbuster that makes a gajillion. There's far less room for different stories.

LRP one of the issues in the gaming industry (and other industries too) is that everyone is so focused on making that realistic, graphically mind-blowing, big blockbuster game to beat all blockbusters, instead of diversifying. Indies are carrying the midlist titles (again, in many industries)

Not every AAA game needs to be 80+ hours long and take 7 years to make and sell ten million copies to hit “targets.” We don’t need to keep doing that.

People should talk more about shit they love, it's a great way to make friends

I cannot stress enough that most ppl don't ever even think about calling their reps. I talk to ppl in my fam about it and they go "Huh? What?". But your reps work for YOU. They need to know what you actually care about. When we call in big numbers it ALERTS them, cuz they rarely hear from us.
