reminder when you're doing your taxes, the number patreon is putting on your 1099 is the gross and they DO NOT exclude all the money they took from you in fees. you need to deduct that yourself as business expenses. an easy ("easy") way to do that is to download your earnings by month

CORRECTION: you want to START with the numbers on your 1099, and then subtract each month's 'your total earnings' from them. that difference is your deductible business expense. if your 1099 reports 100 for january, and your earnings are 90, you deduct the 10.
