Finally watched Train Dreams. Easily one of the best book adaptations I've seen. The novella was great, but the film brought it to life. The pacing & cinematography deliver a thematic gut punch that captures the quiet passage of life & how someone can end up simply drifting through it. #Filmsky

While watching "A House of Dynamite", I couldn't help but wonder how our current administration would handle the same situation. How even the most competent professionals struggle to make the correct decisions in life or death situations. And I realized we were truly fucked.

The new series "Last Samurai Standing" is so good. Action choreography, acting, pacing, all just superbly done. Haven't binged a series like that in quite awhile.

Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein was excellent. A great exploration of the monster and his creation.
