I was hoping it was actually on the side & that her body was just twisted odd, but in new official art facing perfectly to the side it's still in the front. Fanartists, fix it! Lol

If I see one more person call a synthesizer V database that costs 62 USD expensive I'm going to bludgeon them with my 360 USD copy of Hatsune Miku v4x that doesn't even have her chinese and my una that cost double her sv & has 1 language and 1/4 the tonality. This is an absolutely fantastic update of her design. I just hope that people realize the only reason that cut out is in the middle of the hem at the bottom of her top is because her body is twisted in this pose. The cutout is meant to be on the side which is much less awkward.

I've had my titan 2 for less than 24 hours and i already love it. It's so nice to just disable Gemini and be rid of all of the AI on the phone, full stop. Also they made the keyboard feel better somehow. The buttons have more clickiness despite having less overall keytravel.

The new synthV update is neat and all but... They still know the main thing we want to see is manual mode again right? The old script for it doesn't work anymore, and that's a long overdue thing to add back that they shouldn't have removed in the first place.

I just looked at the price of mini PCs right now and I genuinely have no clue how people expect the steam machine to cost less than 1000 USD. A 12th gen i5, 8gb ram, and 256gb storage runs like 700 right now so there's no way in hell the steam machine'll be anywhere near that low. 😅

I've started building a huge music library (FLACs where possible if course) just in case the AI of it all makes people remove their stuff from the internet en masse at some point soon, or makes it impossible to tell what's real anymore, and it's a lot of work in ways, but lovely in others.

We really are caught in a bad situation as vocaloid/voice synthesis enjoyers. Within our community is fine, but to be seen as acceptable by outsiders, we either need to deliberately ignore and cover over the fact that (1/2) #vocaloid

Working on my first whole album project and of all vocaloids / vocalsynths I wasn't expecting to use Asa and Macne Nana V4E as the vocals for track 1 and track 2 respectively. That's an odd way to start the album but uhhh... Sure! 😂

There's so much detail and nuance to her voice, so I really don't think Vocaloid is the best engine for her to receive a vocal synth database on. The V6 engine is just so noisy and artifact heavy, I think it will remove all of the detail that makes her voice interesting.

So, I'm making a song using Asa, and vocaloid 6 is being shockingly bad to use. 1: It's doing the thing V5 did at launch where it's reloading the entire part when editing any note at all. It loads much faster than V5 did, but it's still hitting CPU on all cores a LOT more than needed. (continued)

I'm pleasantly surprised that vocaloid6 lite users get access to Asa, and I'm even more pleasantly surprised to hear that the quality of V6 has improved drastically since I looked at it last. She's actually way usable, Though the audio render quality is still worse than V4 even, sadly.

I'm gonna have to try her early access and see how the English sounds before I decide if she's good or not. She sounds way better than NT, however, V6 is also behind in quality compared to more affordable competitors*, so her English has to sound way better than V4X to be a good value proposition.

There is almost nothing more depressing than seeing everything you like doing be taken over by AI. Writing, art, design, music, all of it being replaced by cold corporate machines designed to keep us illiterate & subordinate, to take creativity away from humanity. It feels like a knife to my soul.
