A few seconds can save a life! Leading pedestrian intervals are a way to time light changes at intersections to give cyclists and pedestrians a few seconds head start. This makes them more visible to drivers and helps drivers to respect the right of way which people outside of cars have.

🧵 #A2Council Council made the same choice by kneecapping potential density in most of the city zoned for residential use in the upcoming Comprehensive Plan. The loudest, least safe stroads with the worst air quality are where significant new density is "allowed."

The idea that someone who gets around with a $2000 piece of equipment is "elitist" while someone who uses a $30,000+ piece of equipment that costs hundreds of dollars per month to operate is "normal" is quite the brainwashing.

Cops should not be arresting parents for letting their kids walk or bike around the neighborhood.
