Honestly, World of Warcraft. I'd already been playing MMO's for a while before it came out, so it wasn't as novel to me which was already strike one. It looked pretty, but it felt fetch questy and didn't really grab me. I'd later learn that a compelling story was what I needed to hook me in.

Black Sabbath were one of the first rock bands I ever got into. They were so amazing at what they did. Ozzy was great solo, but the original 4 together? Lightning in a bottle. Those first 5 albums are full of absolute bangers. Even the later stuff has greatness all over it. RIP Ozzy
