FE this year exceeded every expectation. I was worried, last year in the castle, who knows what kind of hotel shenanigans could come up. Aside from classic elevator woes things were about as good as you hope. And the reception to Leko’s con debut was incredible, it’s filled me with so much love.

Had a friend from the road pass away today. Its got me ruminating on my old life. You show up to a shop, meet a bunch of people in, and then for months on end you share every meal, you bleed, you sweat, and you go to hell and back together. And then you go home and usually you never speak again.

I’m IMMEASURABLY disappointed seeing this. Since when did “we” stop being an accepting and safe space? Why are we letting selfish, immature, hate-driven people segregate and dictate what our community is? They’re the ones who DON’T belong in this fandom. It’s not theirs. It’s ours.
