While no Sanctum members made it to Worlds top 8, we still had multiple very strong showings when all things settled this weekend! Toni Portolan finished 14th with Temur Otters, which was good enough for a 3rd place finish in the Player of the Year race! Congrats on an incredible year Toni!

Sanctum had a great day today at Worlds, with not one but TWO teammates at the top of standings going into day 2! cftsoc (Rei Zhang) and Toni Portolan are both 6-1, both on our version of Otters without many Boomerang Basics. They'll both be in the featured pod for the draft tomorrow!

We're extremely disappointed to hear this news. The VML is a sister organization to us, and we wouldn't be the team we are if it wasn't for their work getting people of marginalized genders into the competitive magic space. We hope @magic.wizards.com reconsiders this decision.
