5-0 with my take on White LD Control! The stock lists are very flawed imo. This is a work in progress but I do feel this is a major upgrade on the archetype. Karn is so bad, the deck wanted more sweepers and card advantage For the first time in a while i’m having fun in Modern

6-3 in today’s legacy showcase with Mono B Oops Punted my round 6 and lost some close games. The deck feels incredible. The copypasta lists that people have been playing are horrible. Cutting the Journey package is illegal.

Stayed up all night like a sicko after losing half a dozen win and ins for the Play In and finally got there w/ my Otters list. Time for sleep

Won an rcq today with Neoform. This deck is completely broken in paper as the rl meta isn’t ready for it. The MD is based on Azax’s Wish list with a 3rd surveil, +1 Prismatic Ending +1 Foundation Breaker in the board. I’m not sure how good the elks are but they make me happy

People keep dunking on this line and they don’t understand how much thought and creativity goes into brewing these Oops lists and all their adaptations. I’ve always been impressed by how clever and knowledgable the Oops community is.

Oops all spells has remained tier 0 or 1 through metas with UB reanimator with grief, UB reanimator with frog, UB reanimator with troll, UB reanimator with Tamiyo, and to this day. The deck is always the most broken thing in Legacy and just avoids bans by being hard to play.

I’m so grateful for today’s Modern’s bans. Now my reindeer is playable!

If anyone has strong opinions of what to play in the historic qualifier tomorrow please let me know!

Lost in the finals of an rcq today with my take on Neoform -1 island +1 endurance in the board All the variations of this deck hurt my head. I’m in favor of the Pact/Consign package because I think the free spells offer you a lot of speed and power and the floor on consign is ok

Standard Showcase Challenge with Mono Red: 6-3 I played against 3 Red mirrors and didn’t drop a game. I’m happy to see i’m still the Queen of mice mirrors; but I can’t win cutter mirrors for the life of me. This deck’s good and I think good into Prowess but it’s not broken

Modern Super Q with Mardu Energy: 5-0 into 6-3 I played much worse from r8 on, i'm not used to playing this late A bit disappointing but I gotta learn to lock in at the tail end of these events.

4-0ed today’s prelim with my take on Mardu Energy I believe the discard spells are v good as a catch-all against combo decks and not too much of a loss elsewhere. Most ppl have been leaning too hard on the black splash, 13 sources and Ragavan are all u need, stay mostly Boros

1-3 in today’s showcase w/ my take on mono red. Lost to 3 Steel Cutter decks (2 UR, 1 GR) 2 weeks ago I said my downfall for this event would be being unprepared for something new from Tarkir. The trad red decks feel structurally unfavored into the prowess decks. Live n learn

Got there in tonight’s LCQ with Cat n Mouse Red I beat the Mono Red mirror 4 times and then played Omni in the Finals 🙃

Tried to double q a real life Team Event playing Legacy Oops and day 2 of the Arena Champ Qualifier and it did not work; had to concede a winnable match but so it goes. 1-2 🙃 My standard deck is a Mono Red deck tuned to beat Esper while not sacrificing much against the field
