EOY Thoughts: This year has gone well for me. While I didn't hit my streaming goal of 600 followers on Twitch by the EOY, I've enjoyed it nonetheless. Sadly, I go into the new year with uncertainty about employment with my current role suddenly ending. Hopefully I can find something quickly.

Streaming Recap! Didn't quite hit my goals for the year, but that's ok! I still have fun streaming, and that's what matters. Top 10% Elite Dangerous streamer was a surprise though.

After finding out about the shitshow that is going on with SAMMI I immediately removed it from my streaming setup. It was the push I needed to get around to build my own solution in Godot, which I'd not used before. I've already restored about 75% of my automation and redeems. And I'm having fun!

Tried the Voyager game demo last night. Has potential, can see me enjoying it. Though it needs to run better - it brought my GPU to its knees to the point OBS just... Stopped streaming. Not crash, it just... Turned off the stream. Never seen that happen before.

Gonna be trying the demo of the Star Trek Voyager game on stream tonight. Should be good fun.

Somedays, like today, I wish I could be a streamer full time. Just working for myself, making cool dumb projects, chatting away, playing some games, learning stuff from chat, teaching chat things. I am in awe of those that make that decision to stream full time.
