I've rewatched the pre-COVID all-woman cast Ghostbusters about five times more, and laughed a LOT more, than the two other new ones (all fun tho!!) Ghostbusters Answer the Call got done dirty by fans and the old crew who threw them under the bus as soon as they realized the IP still had life in it.

I don't think it clicked for me until now, but in Destiny 2 a good 25% of the screen is the gun you're using. When scoping that dramatically goes down, but what a ton of real estate dedicated to your weapon. No wonder the weapons seem to have so much character and so many fans.

Wrapping up the Quantum Evolution book series. I usually hold off on my tiny reviews until I'm completely done with a series, but this already is a winner. Highly recommend the Quantum Evolution book series by Derek Künsken. Some fun takes on hard science abused by a conman. Audio books are solid

I don't publicly review media that I think is bad, which is rare, I will, however, review bad media that is maliciously bad (racist, phobic, treats you like an idiot, etc) - but, whoa boy this one I'm working on is a doozy. Bad choice of a narrator for this audio book, I don't know if I can finish.

Just finished the Themis Files trilogy: Sleeping Giants, Waking Gods, and Only Human by Sylvain Neuvel. I recommend this series quite a bit if you like the political stuff around Gundam or Evangelion. Big robot stuff, but mainly the world around them. Some of the best voice acting in audio books.

If you're going to listen to ~12 hrs of audio books a day, I highly recommend these Shokz headphones. Being induction and flat against the skull makes them awesome to sleep in as well. Not a great audio for music or noise cancelling, but solid for spoken word stuff. 10 hr charge, works in shower.

Uhh, oof, I listen to 12 hrs of audio books a day...on average. Finished more than 200 books in 2025. These stats are just since October and some are a moving average over a week.
