Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.

One strength of Aono-kun that is so hard to describe is how while the story never makes wild genre shifts or premise defying plot twists, the narratives shifts and changes so much yet remains so good and engaging the entire time
