The Nintendo Museum was incredible! Couldn't take pics of the parts after the mural wall but the highlight was easily the original concept art of the games, that was easily worth the price of admission alone Also I spent way too much money at the shop. I bought every N64 related item available lmao

So, turns out that DK64, Kazooie and Tooie have similar enough soundfont contents and compiled binary format that you can convert a DK64 track (vanilla or custom) in it's compiled binary form to either Banjo game's format without having to convert it back to a MIDI, and it'll sound almost identical.

In Donkey Kong 64, the Giant Spider miniboss can only be fought once. Modifying the game to fight it a second time makes it unceremoniously explode. While this appears to be a glitch, examining the code reveals it was actually deliberately added for the developers' own amusement.
