Packing is a blight

The cosplay prop rule for AGDQ makes sense, all cons I've been to have rules around it and not all cons want to deal with that. Needing to send in pictures for pre-approval feels easily missed though and may be unnecessary.

Waiting on the ganache to harden but I'm happy with my first ever attempt at this.

I mostly played EDH, Brawl, and limited in 2025 as far as Magic went and these probably had the biggest impact among the cards I played with honorable mention to The Endstone and Planetarium of Wan Shi Tong being disgusting value pieces.

I did a lot in 2025. Many travels including Japan and a handful of conventions. Did two new cosplays. Restreamed for DK64 Randomizer and helped with S4. Baked a few new things. Got back into dance games. Started drawing. Joined a local mahjong club. It's wild to me how much I fit in.

I'm about a week removed from finishing Octopath 0 and I think it slightly beats OT2 as my favorite in the series. There are things each does better than the other but the 8 character battles and stronger main narrative is winning out.

I think I'm finishing the main story for Octopath Traveler 0 tonight and I'm still in awe how good this game is. I had tempered expectations with this game like several others I know but I can confidently say those fears are misplaced.

SMX at AGDQ, not much of a surprise but you love to see it.

I honestly can't believe how enormous Octopath 0 is and how enjoyable it's been for nearly all of it. I'm (presumably) approaching the final leg of the game but I think it's on the same level as 2 for me and has a possibility to surpass it.

I say this with zero irony: if you are even tangentially a part of a retro video game community, it is your civic duty to push back against this company and shun anyone who doesn't. This is fascism tapping gently at the door and as soon as you let it in, it's going to invite its friends.
