One of the most interesting parts of this week's update in CotC is if much like last year we catch any characters who dont have voice guidance lines having them. I know I'll be checking if Throné has some cause its weird EX Temenos and Throné havent happened yet so I expect them on New Years.

Anyway Octopath ramblings aside. I'm gonna go to sleep. Here's a Sofia in a box to leave my bsky on a happier note than me being somewhat negative there.

Those have just been my early thoughts while playing OT0 so far. I'm a massive and longterm CotC fan and have been for nearly 7 years now so my opinions will always be relatively strong in regards to the game.

I am trying not to speak to much on the game. I know because of the ENG translation that I'm gonna have many many problems with it. I'm just trying to enjoy the experience overall with the new characters and reexploring the game on a console. I know overall CotC is the vastly stronger experience

Also having now done both Master of Wealth and Fame and almost done Power. I can say for sure that I'm definitely bothered with the protagonist handling. The bloodlust my character has toward the masters just isn't right. Its unfitting for the Chosen One role. I do like that Herminia calls it out.

Now finished with Master of Wealth in OT0. I knew the localization in Wealth would be rough but yeah it was rougher than I expected. There's just so many little things I know are different in JP that ENG just dodges around. Its tough for me to read knowing the true way they speak.

Happy 3rd anniversary EX Lyummis! To this day she is still the best EX Job they ever made and still one of my go to hunters in the game! Been working on Master of Fame so far in #OctopathTraveler0 Because of that I wanted to reshare my Francesca art from last year! I continue to hope for her to be playable in #OctopathCotC! I know people don't like her but I believe she is a character who had way more potential than what she got!

LRP I wanted to reshare that since I got OT0 yesterday and I still find it funny that I drew my 5th anniversary art inspired by OT0s art only for OT0 to do alternate version of the art with the Chosen's hand in the air like my picture was. I had it predicted with that one. 😅

For next year Tomodachi Life, Mario Tennis Fever, and Yoshi and the Mysterious Book are my most anticipated games right now! I'm really iffy on FE Fortune's Weave right now. And I dont know when I will pick up DQ7 and Tales of Berseria so I don't want to count them right now.

Mario Kart World does not land anywhere as a favourite this year. I really just didnt find it to be all that enjoyable. MK8 is still superior in my eyes and I was clearly just not in need of a new Mario Kart.

Since tomorrow is the gameawards I think this is a perfect time to share my fav games this year! Pokemon Legends Z-A was by far my game of the year! I have nonstop been obsessed with this game! Its so much fun and gave me a much needed change of experience in Pokémon!

I'm excited for the Radio Show next week. But a little sad they dont mention talking about character settings. Hopefully they still do. Out of fan requested characters they only talked about Shelby, Varkyn, and Meena. But there are some who never received any form of info at all in the past.

I drew Hammy for this 8 day! I enjoy her energy and enthusiasm about the arena, but I decided to draw a calmer moment. Hammy's consolidating her notes after the end of a riveting match.

Nada's Traveler Memory was very very good! I know I was right to like them! A well written and interesting character and story concept! Hurting me even more they are a Memory Traveler and not a general pool. Would love to get them on my actual game but sadly will have to wait for now.

Thank gods my OT0 preorder found its way to Canada finally. Says it won't be until tomorrow but thats fine. As long as I know its moving properly again. Either way I got a Dragonlord to beat up tonight anyway. I'm so close to being done DQ1!

My preorder for OT0 is actually getting on my nerves now. Its literally been back and forth for days traveling between Las Vegas and various places in California. You don't realize how hard a fight in Cross Story truly is until they put it in Wave Battle. Both Erika and the Richard and Araune fights are legitimately annoying to do with their own gimmicks as well as Wave Battle ones. But I got the perfect and wi never do that again. #オクトラ大陸の覇者 #OctopathCotC

Last night I chose to waste away my 14 veteran seals. With Nada a general pool character being turned into a memory traveler i dont have much hope for general pool in the future. Didn't really get any awakenings I want. (Relisha will always avoid me 😭) so most are fragments aside from a few.

The amount of JP comments already running the is CotC dead now cause of OT0 really shows how much the game could hurt CotC. I don't really think it'll hurt JP as much as they think (the poor quality in writing might though) but I definitely seeing it hurting other versions due to small player bases.
