What a week! Congrats to the whole SFB1280 team, especially our speakers Onur Güntürkün and Dagmar Timmann. Also huge thanks to Sigrid Elsenbruch who led „team translation“. Of course I am convinced that this was crucially important to secure the 3rd funding period.

In a webinar, @jlaferton.bsky.social recently shared valuable insights on how clinicians can enhance patient outcomes: 1️⃣ Ask about individual expectations & experiences 2️⃣ Strengthen patient-clinician relationship 3️⃣ Improve benefit expectations 4️⃣ Manage adverse effects & control expectations

I am so proud and deeply impressed by the amazing work of our ECRs. We could have awarded even more of the ECR publications evolved from the 1st funding period!

The CRC is deeply saddened and shocked by the recent and unexpected passing of our esteemed colleague, Professor Andrea Evers. Andrea was a trailblazer in the field of placebo research and a driving force in fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
