Vom Wiener Westbahnhof muss man nach der Arbeit nicht mit der Straßenbahn nach Hause zum Hauptbahnhof fahren. Man kann auch den EC 149 Hortobágy nehnen und im 🇭🇺 @diningcar.at eine zum Zugnamen passende Hortobágyer Fleischpalatschinke genießen.

Kurztrip nach Triest bzw. Miramare: Direktzug können alle. Für uns ging es heute mit Umstieg in Udine (inklusive Mittagessen im @diningcar.at des RJX 133 "San Marco" und Kaffeepause im Bahnhofscafé Udine) quasi direkt ans Meer.

Going through the photos taken yesterday while travelling on #EuroCity #164 #Transalpin. The long consist was first hauled by one #ÖBB 🇦🇹 Class 1016/1116 #Taurus electric, then by two of them for the steep gradients on the #Arlberg line. Finally an #SBB🇨🇭#Re460 brought us, on time, into #Zurich HB.

Seen last week at #Lyon 🇫🇷 Part-Dieu station, while waiting for my connecting train: the #Renfe 🇪🇸 #AVE Class S-100 high speed train, a close relative of the #SNCF TGV-Atlantique. They were about to leave for #Barcelona. The car with two rows of windows, one on top of the other, is the #Cafeteria car.
