About a hundred meters from where an elderly family relative lives, the Nysa Kłodzka river recorded its highest level at 692cm. The water level now, at 145cm, is especially low, likely in line with the current drought.

Israeli environmentalists have long taken an issue with Greta Thunberg for her stance against the war on Gaza. The only reason this statement stands out is because it acknowledges - even if tokenistically - the link between the war and fossil fuels.
