New this week: I wrote about how people seem to always perceive that crime is rising -- a problem that goes back at least a century -- and what I'm hoping to do about it. Check it out!

My coworker was just showing me a video about cajun language stuff. Those just give me flashbacks to my childhood and hanging out with my cousin in Lafayette and I was talking to him about that and my whole accent flipped. Glad to know that country girl is still somewhere in my brain.

My brain decided to serve up 2 different trauma scenarios in my dreams last night. One of which was actually something that happened to me.... my freshman year of college and now I've rethought the whole thing and decided their were 2 villains and good me for standing up for myself. But damn.
