You've probably seen the word #Landback somewhere and instantly had some feelings. It sounds blunt, which is part of why a lot of people tend to have an instant reaction or jump to some very problematic misconceptions about what it means. So, let's talk Landback, from my POV and work.

2026 update! We have lots of to share, starting with a mini Disabled And Here release later this month. This illustrated series is called Possible Futures, created in memory of Alice Wong, who we’re still mourning, now and always, and is about cultivating our imagination and hope for what could be.

As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

Let me preface this by stating up front that language is not the most urgent or important issue facing any of us, ever. And, at the same time, language shapes/is shaped by culture, politics, and power. That said, I've had many thoughts brewing for a while about the terms "AuDHD" and "neurospicy."

MY NEW COLUMN: For centuries, the Texas government has weaponized different laws to control and exploit Black women’s bodies—first through slavery, then through Jim Crow segregation, and now through abortion restrictions that disproportionately harm and control the lives of Black women.

Thailand urging holiday travellers to wear masks in the wake of the latest Covid variant Nimbus (nicknamed razor blade throat). We’re starting to see more & more media outlets discuss masking… which is highly unusual given they’ve been driving the “it’s over” narrative for years. Respirators work!

Lots of things have been heavy, so I’m flipping the script and shooting a trans-centered Disabled And Here series to carve out some space for peace, joy, and Pride. Any help spreading the word would be fantastic. 💜
