11 January 1914 | Irish Jewish woman of Czech origin Esther (Ettie) Steinberg was born. In Dublin, she married Vogtjeck Gluck & moved first to Antwerp & then to Paris. On 2 September 1942, the couple was deported to Auschwitz with their son Léon. None of them survived.
