She did some astonishing work -- and Alan Moore, may Glycon bless him, wrote her one of her greatest showcases in SWAMP THING #56, "My Blue Heaven," showing her virtuosity with a limited palette. A legend.

So sad to share that legendary colorist Tatjana Wood has passed away at the age of 99. Her pioneering painterly touch graced scores of DC & Vertigo series. She was truly one of a kind and a special friend. May her memory be a blessing.

Album was released in 1983, artwork done a year before when I was a mere 20 years of age. One of my few covers that I don't mind seeing around; there's a picture disc and a rare Japanese release out there, neither of which I've ever seen as physical copies.

"Favored by modern French composers, [the instrument's] national character extends to the players as well, and there has been a line of virtuosic pianists/ondists (the term for someone who plays the ondes Martenot) starting in the 1920s and descending down to today’s leading ondist, Christine Ott."

I have a hard time watching old movies and tv shows but the Twilight Zone absolutely zips by and is fun as hell because they essentially do what a show on Apple TV takes two seasons to accomplish in a half hour

I'm struggling with the minutiae of colouring this image. It's taken a long time to work on in my spare time, but it's getting there. It's not finished yet. I don't think the start/stops have helped, but it's good practice.

Date unknown, but the appeal to Punk is dead, Bring on the new wave is loud and clear. Our cassettes have anti-jamming ribs, none of this “hidden punk-ass workmanship.”

Bill Duke is 82. This is a superb in-depth interview about his life, acting & directing (Deep Cover is one of the best, most subversive & overlooked films of the 90s). The man has accrued a lot of wisdom.
