like many writers, I've been subjected to pile-ons over what I felt were misinterpretations of what I've written. yes they suck. we can respond by clarifying, apologizing, or blocking our detractors. but when our detractors are a marginalized group who's just had SCOTUS fuck them over...

Heart breaking. I don't really talk about it much, but the reason I don't go to therapy is because I went through the "talk version" of conversion therapy at 12. The "doctor" spent 6 weeks playing games with me to gain trust, then spent 6-7 months telling me transgender people don't exist.
