Just finished this in 2 days, it was so good! I love how the fairy-tale/fairy-tale elements were woven throughout the story and there were so many genuinely funny moments. I really enjoyed how the story handled complicated family relationships. Highly recommend! 5/5 ⭐

Edinburgh Fringe is coming to an end. Tomorrow, I will post the widely ignored Ry Fringe Awards! But for tonight, I will just pay homage to the best shows of the past week. I saw 16, bringing the total to 36. And there were a lot of brilliant shows this week, so I will just mention my top three:

Week 2 of Edinburgh Fringe, I saw 9 shows. The standout was: DUSK/NIGHT/DAWN www.edfringe.com/tickets/what... Amazing. Some of the most beautiful aerial pole work I’ve ever seen. Stunning and evocative. I also liked The Other Mozart, Stevie Martin: clout, and Alasdair Beckett-King: King of Crumbs.
