This week I’ve been upskilling, and it feels GOOD to a) try things WITHOUT instruction, and then B) find out how it SHOULD be done and repeat. Like actively problem solving AS WELL as finding stuff you WEREN’T looking for that’ll be handy later, and being able to see how far off your instincts are!

hmm what if I fight my insomnia with watching tutorials; a thing I REGULARLY fall asleep during? Worst case scenario I learn something.

This piano learning malarkey feels VERY like being in primary school. That sounds negative, but that level of ‘ here’s some very basic stuff but knowing this will unlock EVERYTHING’. I suck, but yesterday I got better enough at reading the bass clef that today i can fumble slowly through songs.
