I am heartbroken to hear the news that ROBERT E MCGINNIS has past away March 10th at the age of 99. One of the greatest American Illustrators ever is gone and not a single piece on the news anywhere about the man, his influence and his life.

Just to give everybody fair warning, the 100th person to tell me “oh, I’m a terrible artist, I can’t even draw a stick figure!” WILL be thrown into a volcano. However I will not be disclosing what number we are at now
