Played at @g2summit.bsky.social, backed it today. It would be fair to say that I don’t generally gravitate towards worker placement games…unless they’re truly special. This one has an incredibly fun theme, delivered with sharp-but-not-mean humor, at exactly the right weight for my taste. Yo-ho-ho!

This year is the first time I've seen "Haul" pics coming out of @g2summit.bsky.social. Whats really cool with them is they're so diverse in games since nothing new was released at our show so they're not all "samesies", and in pretty much every case the games are pre-owned going to good homes

As always, I had a fantastic time celebrating my birthday with board games at @g2summit.bsky.social this weekend Did a very bad job logging what I played, but it was great to see and catch up with everyone!

As always, @g2summit.bsky.social was an awesome event. I played games I don’t normally play, played many designers’ prototypes, had my prototypes played many times, and caught up with great people who I see only 1-2 times a year. The proto plays are important, but time with the people is invaluable.

We have wrapped @g2summit.bsky.social 's 9th year, which was 5 days (1 day of setup, 4 of the actual event) of non-stop peopling for 14 hrs a day I will now be retiring to my sleeping quarters where I hope to not be perceived while my introverted ass recharges.

Yesterday afternoon we settled in at @g2summit.bsky.social for some Slay the Spire with @nyobari.net and @tableflipsyou.bsky.social. We warmed up by getting defeated by Act II but reset for a fantastic run at Act III. Such a fun time! #boardgames

Had a great playtest of Community Park today @g2summit.bsky.social with some fellow game designers (see pic). I am now set up for another test tonight - I wonder who might join.

I am currently applying the printed labels to the handout tiles. I should be ready for people to play Community Park @g2summit.bsky.social by 3 pm. 🎲✂️ It is a little tedious but the payoff is great. If you are at the event and love tile placement games, come find me (masked room).
