I enjoyed an absolutely lovely Family Weekend Saturday hanging out with 18yo. Our Quiver did a great job transporting 2 games of Legendary Marvel. We also played Hot Streak on the floor of his dorm room

Hubby and I have been having a blast playing Sunderfolk couch co-op with 21yo. Just one copy of the game on the tv via Steamdeck and we each control our characters with our phones. Very slick, easy interface. #boardgame families may want to check this out!

As the world binges Hades II, I’ve restarted the first because I never finished it. Trading off with Mass Effect 3. I’ve got Garrus and Wrex on the Normandy so all’s good.

Finished my replay of ME2 so I launched ME3 tonight. What a delight.

We report walking towards the east at sunset: while the days are getting cooler, we are still living that moment of transition when crickets can be heard in the grass. It baffles us every year - our collar zipped up to our chin, and the soft chirps, vestigial crumbs of summer.

Concert band rehearsals have started again and I practiced at home so I definitely deserve this cookie

What a fantastic day of games with my pal at his place, as the rain came down in sheets ♟️ Corps of Discovery was a fun puzzle ♟️ Fellowship of the Ring was better for us with 3 than 2 (and with the right rules) ♟️ Hot Streak was a blast!

Last night’s cat snuggle index indicated cooler temperatures

August is a robust month of #boardgames since we host our annual Games*a*palooza party for friends and family

Settled in for some long #boardgames with hubby today: Star Wars Outer Rim and three acts of Slay the Spire. The kitties were very helpful

Playing Little Kitty, Big City has been an absolute delight! The movement, personality, and emotes for kitty are perfect. The controls and challenge hit the sweet spot for me.

While my mom was traveling this week I spent time with my dad. We even played games other than cribbage! Oof, he’s good at Qwirkle

Absolutely confident that he’s got this and will thrive at college. But, dang, he’s great to have around and I’ll miss him

One last game of Legendary Marvel #boardgame before dropping off our son at college in the morning. It was his 317th play.
