It's been out on PC for a couple years now, but if you haven't already played Schildmaid you should absolutely check it out. It has the rare magic of an extremely low and approachable skill floor and a ridiculously high and expressive skill ceiling. I love it.

Which #shmups do you have the most experience with? These are the 4 I’ve spent most time with and have had the biggest impact with me over the past few years: Schildmaid MX Rayforce Ketsui Esprade (Honorable mentions: Mushihimesama, Crimzon Clover WEx, Batsugun & Espgaluda II)

Top 4 #shmups I love are: - Axelay - Gradius III (SNES) - Gradius V - Mushihimesama Axelay is my absolute number one favorite of all time, I own an enhanced original cartridge for that and Gradius III that remove all slowdown, making it the ultimate console challenges.
