This happened to me, I closed my handmade business for 5 years at the start of COVID which coincided with my new role as full time family caregiver. I became a quilter. I don’t sell quilts, I keep or give them away. I share pics to participate in the creative community but I don’t create “content”.

#caregiving can be like a baseball game, hours of anticipation while nothing happens interrupted by moments of chaos. Also sometimes you win, sometimes not so much.

The crows also quickly learned to chase the critters I chase away from the feeders, that being the magpies and squirrels because they have ZERO chill and are quite destructive. I saw a crow chase a squirrel out of the yard and immediately gave it a whole bowl of peanuts as a reward. 😂

A murder of crows moved into the neighbourhood (yay!) and they quickly learned that getting peanuts means living in harmony with all the other birds I feed. They're not even beefing with the blue jays. One jay keeps doing these tiny quiet little caws. Idk what it's saying but it's adorable.
