The NYT printed this in its op-ed section this AM: "A central pillar of American democracy is that no man is above the law. But Mr. Trump isn’t an ordinary man." Wrong. America doesn't have a king or a divine ruler. We elect an ORDINARY MAN as president.

Now is not the time for acceptance and resignation. This is - yet again - a time for commitment and action. Do not say you’re weary - before the battle has been joined. Simply unacceptable.

It’s just not true that the “majority” of Americans voted for Trump. 93 million eligible Americans did not vote at all. That number dwarfs the 76.5 million vote total Trump currently holds.

Don’t buy into the illusion that Trump has a mandate to trample the rule of law or ignore the Constitution. He does not. Under 1/3 of eligible voters picked Trump. That is no mandate but a narrow victory.
