I really want peanut butter bars. But the family is coming for Easter dinner on the weekend and my nephews girlfriend has a peanut allergy. So I feel like it’s irresponsible to do baking with peanuts before she comes.

On this day in 1971, Polka Dot Door premiered. It aired for 22 seasons and 383 episodes. One of the most well-known and beloved parts of the show was Polkaroo. In 2010, the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television named it a Canadian Masterwork.

The loss of Peter Clark is being felt deeply across our city. This should never have happened to someone who was working to keep children safe. Flags at all City of Ottawa facilities will be lowered to half-mast until the day of his funeral in honour of Peter’s life and his service to our community.
