Happy National Gymnastics Day! I was not very good but I loved it, and it helped a very shy kid gain some confidence. Dad set up a wooden trapeze in a tree behind the Selma parsonage. Later, in Denver, he made me a low, carpeted, backyard balance beam to help conquer fears on new tricks.

1st day of #bikebus season in the bistate! In addition to the 8 bike-to-school rides @stlbworks.bsky.social is supporting at #STL schools in the coming weeks, 3 D7 elementary schools here in IL have buses running these next 3 Fridays. It's an effort of Edwardsville BPAC volunteers including me! 🏫🚲

Each year BWorks donates overflow mountain bicycles that we dont have the manpower to be able to refurbish, to various charities around the world. These bicycles find new life by helping provide much needed transportation options.

One of the local elementary students who started Earn-A-Bike at BWorks during his school's aftercare yesterday was SO EXCITED ... he is already in one of our six-week Earn-A-Computer programs up at Bellefontaine Rec, and seeing some of his same BWorks teachers 1/2
