It’ll probably be similar, but could be quite different. They aren’t true to seed.

The lily order is in and arriving in dribs and drabs, crocus & grape hyacinths & cyclamen for the bulb table are here, blowsy overblown tulips ordered (many), narcissi ordered (many), can’t think what else! #GardensHour we have scheduled some planting dates, hopefully we will stick to them!

Mixed bag - gravel dressing makes an excellent germination medium, even when it's not intended. Begonia cucullata var arenosicola, Heuchera and Salvia seedlings a plenty. #GardensHour #Garden #Gardening 🌱

So long as the fruits are ok. The thing is that its been warm and sunny during the day so they are ripening nicely. Will probably bring them all in at the weekend

Even8ng all. Not had chance to do much lately as its been chucking it down for about a fortnight (and now we have our first touch of frost). I have planted some snowdrops in pots though as I've not decided where I'm putting them yet. I still need to choose some tulips too! #GardensHour

Biennial seeds (foxgloves & Sweet William) sown in June, thinned in July, potted on in August and now planted in over-winter beds in September. Garden-ready plants will set you back around £10 each next Spring, about the same it’s cost me for around 30 plants this way. #gardening #gardenshour
