In other jewel #orchids terrarium news, the silvery jewel orchid Goodyera viridiflora is blooming waaaay in the back. The flowers are intricate and cute, but unobtrusive. Once I show it to my fellow nerds at the orchid club meeting next Wednesday, I'll probably cut it off in favor of leafy vibes. 🌱🪴

🌱Today’s flower/plant photo is called Painted Tongue (Salpiglossis Sinuata), which we grew from seed for 1st time last Spring. They come in a variety of colours, bloom steadily and are (in theory) perennial (we’ll see how perennial they are after a very wet & cold winter).
