I straight up lost a whole grow bag this year, plus a solar light next to it. Totally forgot it was there until I was like "hey wait, where is this plant going? Oh! Ohhhhh....." 😬

Every stinking year I'm stupefied at how fast the grazing grasses take over the entirety of the yard. Looking at pictures from early April when everything was still "dead looking". Yeah it's just all tall grass now 🤪

Found the backside today 🙌 Tomatoes will go here, both in the grow bag (the giant four pocket one) and in the ground behind it. Peppers are going in the front 4 that I found yesterday. Thinking I might pot a lot of those "weeds" to sell - it's mostly catnip. 🤭🌱

That would be zucchini coming up 🙌🌱 Corn is sprouting as well. Almost time to plant beans. 🫘

These plants were part of my local adventure last week, where I stopped at a few local greenhouses and a feed store.

✔️ Transplanted Chives ✔️ Transplanted Chocolate Mint ✔️ Prepped as much as I could do on the south side here for peppers and tomatoes. Too hot, I'm done. 😫

Doesn't look like much yet, but I'm getting there. The wild farm ate my cute garden. 😆🌱

Good Morning from the Poppy Patch 🌱🧡🤭

Yesterday I made bread, made calzones, seeded zucchini, garlic chives and corn, plus transplanted lemon grass and chamomile. I do not know the meaning of the word "down time".

I made rolls for the week, wrote some stuff, and took measurements to rebuild/extended the old greenhouse. Now I break for tacos before I dye my hair purple, plant Canna lilies, and maybe transplant an eggplant. Days off are exhausting 🫠
