Feeling a little better today. Thank goodness says Ted, being on duty & responding to every cough has been exhausting! Does anyone else have a dog that does this? Every sneeze/ cough & he rushes to give me a cuddle.

Morning all. Still under the weather Nose streaming, congestion headache & no voice! 🤧 I hate being poorly. Usually I’d be really excited to see this parcel arrive but planting will have to wait. 3 super new additions I’ve chosen- Harlow Carr, named after one of my favourite gardening estates. 🌱

In remembrance

As poorly, rose planting was slow, still got 3 out of 5 (Coral Charm) in before the heavens opened. Wouldn’t normally deter me but as full of cold didn’t want to get soaked. Shame I couldn’t smell the scent of this glorious choysia. 🌱

Final ( hopefully) part of my dental procedure today & to top it all, have a stinking head cold. This was my afternoon, snuggled up to my heated blanket. It will be a better day tomorrow.

Afternoon all. After a very tiring morning harassing the chap who arrived to assess reupholstering a little sofa, Ted is struggling to stay awake. I had a terrible nights sleep too, so an afternoon nap for both of us is on the cards. It’s a rock n roll lifestyle 😂

Busy day today in the garden including trying to strike some new roses from cuttings. I always try lots as only a few will successfully strike. Ted has sulked all day after his morning bath but he did relent & sit watching me tidy the greenhouse. It’s a dog’s life as they say. 🌱

It was a great day yesterday, making new friends & working with Chris in his amazing studio. Super workshop, (birds are my painting nemesis!) & wonderful to be surrounded by his amazing work. (You can find him on Insta @rainhamchristopher )
