Labour MP @jonathanbrashmp.bsky.social tells me the council tax system "hammers areas in greatest need", having set up a new Council Tax Reform APPG But he admits there would be "losers" if the system was changed “I have no fear whatsoever about being unpopular in government circles about this."

Reform’s Richard Tice today praised the last Labour Government handling of asylum, saying it was done in a ‘sensible’ way. He highlighted that ‘applications were dealt with in 3-4 weeks, including appeals’ and that ‘only about 20% of applications were granted asylum’.
