What I like to think about is focusing on your "B-game" rather than always being on your "A-game". If you're able to still contend, even at a slightly lower power, that's gonna go much further because, honestly, you won't always be at your A-game. Practice that B-game.

I get comments on making videos about getting better in SoloQ. IMO, if you pay attention to comp, not even playing in it, but just paying attention, you can get better. Simply watching how weapons are played, where players position & how team comp works will help.

As soon as people got obsessed over their ranks as the end-goal (instead of making practice your goal and using the ranks for matchmaking), I stopped enjoying SendouQ. People definitely need to rethink how they use it.

I genuinely find it weird that some people are saying they prefer the new Japanese scrim sever app versus SendouQ. The problem isn’t SendouQ. The problem is how some players who use SendouQ disregarded the intended purpose of *practice* & instead made it about ‘elo boosting’.

To the TOs, designers, production staff, and everyone else involved in the upkeep of the competitive splatoon scene: If you feel frustrated with the state of the community and its general online behavior, you should quit. You do not owe anything to this scene

I know for a fact a number of TOs are very mad, frustrated, and discouraged right now. Some have told me they don't think the community cares. This worries me. But I know that twitter isn't representative of who we are. Do me a favor, and thank your TOs after playing in an event. #compsplatoon
