I got a chance to get an advance read of @matthewdowsmith.bsky.social's The October Girl from @madcavestudios.com and the only thing I didn't like is that there's not more of it. In that busy magical YA space, it's refreshingly grounded and relatable fay focused fiction. Highly recommended.
