Every time Cae tells me how much debt they are in, it makes me a little nauseous. And working harder and making more doesn't get them out of the hole because debt is something that just compounds.

It’s such a strange experience turning down a sponsor for ethical reasons when I’m 80k in debt. A single Betterhelp sponsorship could pay for all my medication for a year, but I said no. While it may be “the right thing to do”, it’s actually extremely harmful and quite literally costly.
