That’s exactly what made me make this post, I just decided air ride was a better example but look at this it’s beautiful

seriously it's SOOOO good. sometimes i think about the cancelled kirby gamecube game and it makes me upset because it LOOKS SO PRETTY and it doesn't MATTER if it ever turned into something else because it didn't look like THIS

there is a rarely (if ever?) spoken about gamecube era aesthetic of stylized graphics mixed with textures made from real world photographs and I hope a bunch of indie devs embrace this at some point

Kirby Air Ride is here but it should be noted that this style was only used for Air Ride and Top Ride maps. The City Trial map, bizarrely, has a highly stylized pseudo-50's aesthetic. Much like the UPA revival cartoons (fairly oddparents, powerpuff girls etc.) popular in the U.S at the time.

Uhoh added 8 tbsps of butter to a mixture instead of 12! Dough was super dry at the final stage when I realized, but I added the missing 4 tablespoons on top of it. Definitely got moister and sticky-er but it still wasn't as sticky as my last batch. Do you think it's fine or is my dough fucked?

I always like to draw as a child but it was playing Sonic Adventure that I realized someone had to draw and make Sonic. From then on I wanted to make something that inspired me the same way Sonic did for me :)

I didn't get my drivers license till I was 23 due to fear, and tbh I wouldn't be surprised if getting your license at 16 may give you some kind of complex regarding driving.
