what i inevitably find when making a song cover is that all music is actually very simple to break down and that it's actually not that complicated to make music that's engaging. what i inevitably find when going back to composing myself is nuh uh

finally got around to playing and beating stray (2022) oooh now that's a fun game... the first game brave enough to ask the question "what if robots made their own civilization in a cyberp..u.. ough... kity...." beautiful detail, fun exploration, good story, janky physics props. i rate it meow/10

playing ufo 50 and watching my friend play in stars & time this week has really taught me the value of Sickos Games as a genre/art form. we should redefine soulslike from "hard game" to "i talked about why i love this game to someone outside its exact target audience and they looked at me funny"

also on the subject of video games, here's my breakdown. shoutout to the spike in september being not what you would think it is (perfectly balanced by the spike in june being absolutely what you would think it is)
