1 March - lovely to see a bee at work on this early flowering rhododendron. I stood and watched for a few moments. Soul food. Nature heals and calms our troubled hearts.

Top tips: Long-tailed Tits often arrive in a small group (a 'zephyr' if you want the collective noun). Sticking a twig through the bird feeder gives somewhere for the latecomers to queue up, which then lets you get a photo of them without the feeder in the shot. #birds #ukwildlife #wildlife #nature
