When the automated till at the Co-op (small uk supermarket) cards me for buying a bottle of wine it gives me a tiny lift,as tho it can see me thro the 📷 & thinks I look smashing, despite me knowing it calls an assistant to check everyone PS I’m 53 & arguably a a pillock but this just cheered me up 👀

Correction: these are small copper butterflies. Not endangered but they are near threatened & in significant decline (mate, same) so it’s still a VERY good thing to see this in the reserve 👍🏼💯 👉🏼👌🏼

For much of this year depression has burgled almost everything about me. I’ve made this photo to show that I’m still here, even if I’m in tiny bits: old marbles, Roman beads, a tiny 17th C fox, 1930s toy flowers, a medieval key. Making this helped my brain, looking at the details might help yours…

Today is National Biscuit Day, and it’s about time that I populated this account with biscuit (cookie) sets from the past few years. Here are some of my favourites. 🧵 First up, a set inspired by the delicious designs of William Morris and John Henry Dearle.

From Arts & Crafts patterns to medieval archaeology. These biscuits recreate stained glass fragments found a few years ago in the triforium of Westminster Abbey.
