When I was in @shitchester.bsky.social I had a berry smoothie from Sandwich’d in the market. Not only was it super delicious due to the inclusion of LYCHEE – a single cup gave me three consecutive brain freezes. I would like one today but I’m back in London.

A memory of the solemn evening at the castle when we commemorated the centenary of end of the Great War. The names of the dead were projected onto the walls and read out one by one. #LestWeForget all the battles.

Excellent post. We moved to Chester in 1970 and only just sold our late parents' house there. Never been in the castle in all that time. Always thought it was a criminally under-exploited historical asset.

And there's another opportunity to visit the Shot Tower, tomorrow (May 2nd) from 10:00am to 4:00pm. There will be a team of volunteers answering questions and showing groups inside.
